President hands over credentials to new ambassadors

President Zuzana Caputova handed over credentials to nine new ambassadors of Slovakia, one of whom was commissioned in his absence. Marcela Hanusova will act as the head of the diplomatic mission in Greece, Andrea Elschekova Matisova will be the new ambassador to Poland, Robert Kirnag will represent Slovakia in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, Milan Lajciak will work in Azerbaijan, and Miroslav Hacek will represent Slovakia at the newly established office in Armenia. Ambassador to Austria Peter Misik will also assume the position of head of the Permanent Mission of the Slovak Republic to the UN in Vienna and to the OSCE in Vienna. Dutch Ambassador Juraj Machac will now also represent Slovakia in Belgium and Luxembourg, Rudolf Michalka will be the ambassador in the newly established embassy in Saudi Arabia. Vasil Grivna was commissioned to work in Bulgaria and Andrej Droba will work in Ireland. "Demanding challenges and a lot of work await you in your places of work. This requires your active approach. We can't afford to passively watch how the world is practically changing before our eyes. We need to actively shape these changes," said the head of state in her speech.
