The OLaNO party has convened a series of extraordinary meetings of its leadership on the current situation in the coalition, and these are to be held until the end of the week, Finance Minister and OLaNO leader Igor Matovic declared after the session of the Government on Tuesday, adding that the situation is serious. He stated that if the fate of the coalition were to hinge on Matovic's resignation or the resignation of Economy Minister Richard Sulik (SaS), he would be willing to consider any of these options. The dispute within the coalition intensified last week after Parliament overrode the veto of President Zuzana Caputova regarding the anti-inflation measures sponsored by Matovic.
