Government suspends talks on hospital construction finance

The Government during Tuesday's session suspended its talks concerning the Health Ministry-sponsored motion on construction of hospitals financed from the national recovery plan, Labour Minister Milan Krajniak (We Are Family) has reported. "The debate on hospitals was to the point. The talks were suspended due to a request of some ministers for certain recalculations," Krajniak said following the Government session. According to the minister, the presented materials didn't contain any serious discrepancies. "In my opinion, the suspension is meant to allow Health Minister [Vladimir Lengvarsky] to answer some technical questions," Krajniak explained. Speaking with media following the Government session on Tuesday, Health Minister Lengvarsky (an OLaNO nominee) claimed that coalition partners welcomed his proposal to build two new hospitals in Bratislava and Martin (Zilina region) that would be financed from the national recovery plan.
