Fire-fighters in Bratislava were called out to a fire at a car-parts shop on Galvaniho Street on Saturday night, said the Fire and Rescue Corps (HaZZ) on Sunday.
“Nobody was injured in the fire,” said the corps’ emergency centre. Sixteen fire-fighters put out the blaze, which was reported shortly before midnight. According to Bratislava Region police spokesperson Karina Považanová, police experts believe that the car-parts shop was set alight deliberately. The damage caused has been estimated at €50,000, with both the attic and the storeroom ending up completely destroyed.
