President Zuzana Caputova on Monday received heads of Slovak representation offices abroad to discuss priorities and goals in the context of the current situation and present-day reality. The president noted that we are experiencing the biggest change in the security environment in the past 30 years. She also added that never in recent history has a war been fought closer to Slovakia than it is now. Meanwhile, Foreign Affairs Minister Ivan Korcok remarked that it's important both for him and Slovak ambassadors abroad to listen to the opinions of top state officials. On this note, the minister expressed his appreciation for the fact that representatives of his ministry are always welcome at the Presidential Palace. Korčok pointed out that the Slovak diplomats in Ukraine are fine. Slovakia currently has 92 diplomatic representations abroad. In total, the Slovak Republic is represented in 64 countries on all continents.
