Chief of Slovak diplomacy Ivan Korcok opened the second year of the Stefan Osusky Summer School of Diplomacy in Bratislava, due to last until July 2. The project is designed for students and young professionals interested in acquiring practical diplomatic skills and knowledge related to the Slovak foreign and European affairs policies. A total of 22 young people will attend lectures and workshops, and partake in various practical activities with figures of diplomacy, public and political life. The school is named after politician and diplomat Osusky, who was one of the founders of Czechoslovakia and whose thoughts on international cooperation also inspired Robert Schuman in the founding of the European Union.
