Slovaks are most interested in employment abroad in the field of agriculture. The job of harvester is the most popular. However, they are more likely to find job offers in other sectors, according to a press release by Profesia. Most of the job offers that are suitable for people from Slovakia are registered with the portal in Germany, where employers advertise more than 350 job offers. Approximately two hundred opportunities can be found in neighbouring Austria. However, they can also find work in one of the hundreds of jobs on offer in the Netherlands. For job seekers abroad, most job offers are available in the transport, freight forwarding and logistics sectors. Employers publish the most job offers for the position of assembler or fitter. Companies abroad are also looking for warehouse workers, labourers, electricians, production operators and truck drivers. However, there is not much interest in some of these jobs. On average, two people respond to an offer for a truck driver on Profesia.sk. There is also low interest from job seekers in the position of electrician. On average, five job seekers respond to each advertisement. Of the top ten most advertised jobs, the most popular is warehouseman.
