Slovak road cyclist Peter Sagan won his eighth Slovak road cycling championship title on Sunday. The rider of the TotalEnergies team had no competition among his compatriots on the 197-kilometre-long course in the vicinity of the Czech town of Mladé Vozice. Lukáš Kubiš (Dukla Banská Bystrica) took second place in the World Championship and Matúš Štoček from the ATT Investments team finished third. Kubiš also won the Slovak title in the under-23 category.
