The public hearing of candidates for the post of the general director of the public broadcaster RTVS started on Monday morning in the Parliament. Altogether, 8 applicants submitted their bids to the Parliamentary Culture and Media Committee including the incumbent director general Jaroslav Reznik. The public hearing started with a 45 minutes delay due to the problems with running it as livestream on the website of the Parliament as requested by the law. The MPs are set to vote on the new RTVS general director on June 22.
