A manufacturer of complete technologies and equipment for various industries, an Austrian company called Andritz Group, will invest more than €40 million in its production plant in Humenné (Prešov region) over the next three years. According to Andritz Slovakia’s director František Harčár, the new operation is to bring more than 100 new jobs to the region. By expanding its product portfolio with technologies for "green areas", the Humenne factory will become one of the largest within the group.
"We will bring a new product portfolio that is not produced in our factory and at the same time it will become one of the largest locations within the Andritz Group, which gives us many benefits and stability within the group," said Harčár, adding that the company intends to launch investments in the autumn.
