Slovakia is willing to provide Ukraine with T-72 tanks only if it receives immediate compensation for each of them in the form of Western-type tanks. Defence Minister Jaroslav Nad (OLaNO) stated this following the Government meeting on Wednesday. According to the minister, the Zuzana 2 howitzers, which Slovakia sold to Ukraine, are still on the production line. The production of the first of them is to be completed in the near future. He refused to comment on the exact delivery dates to Ukraine. Meanwhile, Ukrainian Defence Minister Olexii Reznikov thanked Slovakia for all the military help it has provided to his country since the start of the Russian invasion in a phone call with his Slovak counterpart. The worth of the materials and equipment provided has amounted to €154 million. Reznikov also praised Slovakia's willingness to look for other ways of assistance, as well as the constructive progress of negotiations between the two countries. Nad remarked in this regard that Ukraine can be sure of the authenticity of Slovakia's willingness to help.
