Euro funds should be more transparent

Minister of Investment and Deputy Prime Minister Veronika Remišová signed a memorandum with the Supreme Audit Office and the Office for Public Procurement. This should help in the next programming period also in the issue of the management of the use of European money. The Supreme Audit Office noted the most deficiencies in projects related to informatisation. According to the head of the Public Procurement Office Miroslav Hlivák, the signing of the memorandum is proof that the constructive cooperation of state institutions has results.

"We believe that today's cooperation agreement will also prevent similar things that have happened in the past and will significantly facilitate and make the use of EU funds more transparent. All the institutions involved will exchange knowledge and experience, the error rate in control will be reduced and the EU funds will be better managed and more transparent. Euro funds are there for the people, not for the oligarchs, as was the case under the previous government," Veronika Remišová said.
