President Zuzana Čaputová thanked all Slovaks abroad who maintain a relationship with their homeland. She also appreciated the fact that they are happy to return home and are looking for ways to help Slovakia given their experiences, according to a dedication she wrote after the Slovak Global Network Summit. The event presented a vision for the future of Slovakia. The SGN's Engaged Society Initiative is organising the first annual summit. Its aim is to engage government officials, representatives of companies, startups and initiatives in a society-wide discussion and collaboration about future in Slovakia. The conference was opened by President Zuzana Čaputová and attended by Prime Minister Eduard Heger. According to Andrea Vadkerti, founder of the Leadership Institute, the event addressed five key themes – Slovakia's vision for the future, education, green economy, healthcare, and arts and culture.
