Slovakia and the Czech Republic find it important to investigate all crimes committed during the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Justice Minister Maria Kolikova declared at a press conference after meeting her Czech counterpart Pavel Blažek in Brno on Monday. They also discussed the upcoming Czech Presidency in the Council of the EU. According to the Czech justice minister, the Presidency will be held under the pall of the Ukrainian war. The Czech Republic will assume its second Presidency of the Council of the EU from July this year. It will be historically the first presidency that can also rely on the conclusions of the Conference on the Future of Europe, which contain recommendations from citizens' panels on specific EU reforms.
