Refugee benefits will no longer be paid by the state

Although those who left Ukraine have received their last benefits from the state, they will not lose their material hardship assistance. It will now be paid by international organisations such as UNHCR, UNICEF, the International Organisation for Migration, and the Red Cross. According to Minister of Labour, Social Affairs and Family Milan Krajniak, Slovakia will save millions of euros and prevent possible fraud. The amount of support for a refugee from Ukraine is €80. Children up to three years old will be entitled to €160 and older children up to 18 years old to €60. The maximum a family can receive is €380.
