This summer, travellers from Slovakia can once again take a train directly from Bratislava to Split in Croatia, and take cars or motorcycles with them, the Railway Company of Slovakia announced. The regular rail line with transport of cars will run from Bratislava to the Croatian destination from June 3 to September 24 on Tuesdays and Fridays at 15.51, with the return journey from Split to Bratislava on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 17.26 from June 4 to September 24.
The train with 20 places for cars or motorcycles, 10 from Bratislava and 10 from Vienna, will have modern air-conditioned carriages with seats and beds. The final station of the train in Split is situated in the town centre close to the ferry terminal for crossings to some of the Croatian islands.
