Chief of Slovak diplomacy Ivan Korcok discussed the situation in Ukraine with his Austrian and Ukrainian counterparts at the Globsec Bratislava Forum 2022 on Thursday. According to Korcok, the aid for Ukraine and sanctions might have a considerable impact on the Russian-Ukrainian conflict's outcome. “That's why it's necessary to stay committed to the strategy we have espoused," stated Korcok.
The discussion touched on the role of individual institutions and their response to the ongoing crisis. "The EU has used its enormous economic and regulation power, including unprecedented sets of sanctions and aid, whereas NATO focused on a prompt and fundamental reinforcing of defence in states on its eastern border. Such an efficient division of labour makes us strong," underlined Korcok.
