Environment Minister Jan Budaj addressed participants at the Stockholm+50 international environmental conference on Thursday, calling on UN representatives to resist damage to the environment in Ukraine. Politicians from around the world along with activists met in the Swedish capital to mark half a century of the United Nations Environment Programme. According to Budaj, Slovakia has managed to improve its environment and steer the country in a sustainable direction partly thanks to global agreements.
