State-run company Konstrukta Defence has concluded a contract for the commercial sale of eight self-propelled Zuzana 2 howitzers to Ukraine. The Defence Ministry will not provide more details at the request of the Ukrainians. Slovak Defence Minister Jaroslav Nad stated that he considers this a great success for the Slovak arms industry. According to him, the signing of the contract was preceded by weeks of intensive talks. In the meantime, Slovakia will donate military material worth more than 21 million euros to Ukraine. This stems from the materials approved by the government at its Wednesday meeting.
