The declared state of emergency for the outbreak of COVID-19 will remain in force for the time being. The Central Crisis Staff on Tuesday did not agree to lift it, according to an announcement by Interior Minister Roman Mikulec after the meeting. The reason for the decision was the recommendation of the Health Ministry and the declaration by the World Health Organization, according to whom the pandemic is not yet over. The Central Crisis Staff also discussed health care, free transport and long-term accommodation for refugees. Starting from July, the conditions for free transport for people from Ukraine will be changed, as the system has been abused several times.
