State Secretary of the Ministry of Defence Marián Majer met with Estonian Ambassador to Slovakia Toomas Kukk on Monday. They discussed joint assistance to Ukraine as well as the upcoming NATO summit. Majer said that the NATO summit in June will mark a significant milestone for the Alliance. "The most important of the summit's military conclusions will be decisions on the long-term adaptation of the Alliance's military presence, including the strengthening of its eastern wing," he asserted, adding that Bratislava and Tallinn have similar, if not identical, positions on many issues of transatlantic cooperation.
