Chief hygienist Jan Mikas has issued a regulation regarding the emergence of monkeypox in Europe. Not a single case of the disease has been confirmed in Slovakia yet. The regulation is issued for the needs of regional Public Health Office branches, general practitioners, infectologists and specialists, and contains guidelines for the prevention and treatment of the disease.
