Finance Minister plans to put forth his motion to regulate participation in talk shows

Finance Minister Igor Matovic plans to submit a motion to regulate participation on political talk shows despite the fact that he lacks the support for it from his coalition partners. Speaking at a press conference on Wednesday, Matovic remarked that he would not "reflect on some veto". Matovic is determined to submit his motion to Parliament at his earliest convenience. House Chair Boris Kollar did not rule out that his party might support such a bill, but he needs to peruse it first. Leaders of the remaining coalition parties already declared that they would not vote for the motion, with SaS caucus vice-chair Roman Foltin underlining that interfering with the freedom of the media is quite dangerous.
