Prime Minister Eduard Heger on Wednesday expressed his sympathy for the families of victims of the mass shooting that took place at a primary school in the US state of Texas on Tuesday, claiming lives of at least 19 children and two teachers. "I was deeply saddened by the news from Texas, where children were killed in a murderous rampage. I'm expressing my sincere condolences to the bereaved families," Heger wrote in English on Twitter. Tuesday's tragedy is the latest in a long series of school shootings in the US. It's the worst massacre of its kind since the shooting at Sandy Hook primary school in Connecticut in December 2012. US President Joe Biden has once again called for tighter firearms control.
