A total of 2,647 people from Ukraine entered Slovakia via the Slovak-Ukrainian border on Tuesday (May 17), of which 698 were men, 1,593 women and 356 children, TASR has learnt from Interior Ministry spokesperson Zuzana Eliasova. Of these, 205 have applied for temporary refuge in Slovakia. On the same day, 2,783 people crossed into Ukraine via the same border. Since the start of the war, Slovakia has processed 433,324 refugees from Ukraine, of which 76,544 have been granted temporary refuge in the country.
