Police Corps President Štefan Hamran categorically rejected claims made by opposition Smer-SD leader Robert Fico that he announced plans for the police to carry out a crackdown against members of the former Arc internal affairs inspectorate team, prosecutors and judges at a session of the Security Council. According to Hamran, there was no mention of "anything like that" at the Security Council meeting. He was surprised that Speaker of Parliament Boris Kollár swallowed Fico's bait, stating that he had also came across such information.
