“Even though the world faces an unprecedented number of security challenges, the fight against terrorism must not slip our attention”, chief of Slovak diplomacy Ivan Korcok stated on Wednesday in Marrakesh, where he attended a session of the Global Coalition Against Daesh. The main purpose of the session was to assess the existing progress of the 85-member global coalition's fight against Daesh and coordinate future plans to defeat the terrorist organisation completely. Slovakia's main contribution in this regard was its participation in international crisis management missions held in regions most exposed to the threat, contributions to the UN trust fund to investigate Daesh crimes and financial as well as material aid carried out under the aegis of SlovakAid in the Middle and Near East.
