Pensions awaiting constitutional changes

Pensions awaiting constitutional changes

The quarrelsome government coalition has managed to reach an agreement on pension reform. Members of Parliament moved it on to the second reading by 90 votes. Among other things, the bonus for parents is now closer to approval, which would allow part of a parent’s contributions to go directly to his or her pension. The final adoption of the reform will still require a change in the Constitution, in which the gradual increase in the retirement age is also to be enshrined.
