Government to deal with Ukrainian refugee social measures

At its regular session on Wednesday, the Government was to discuss an amendment to the law on certain social measures related to the influx of refugees from Ukraine, submitted by the Labour Ministry. The ministry proposes that the amendment should be dealt with via fast-track legislative proceedings. The Cabinet should also decide on several proposals for providing the state aid prepared by the Economy Ministry, which suggests providing stimuli to five firms totalling €25 million. Cabinet ministers were also slated to discuss Slovakia's draft Cyber Defence Strategy. The document, submitted by the Defence Ministry, envisages developing the cyber capabilities of the armed forces, plus closer cooperation between the military and civilian sectors in the field of cyber security.
