Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky today addressed the National Council of the Slovak Republic via a teleconference, and praised the support of people in Slovakia. He described Prime Minister Eduard Heger as one of the first European friends to see with his own eyes the Russian crimes in Buča. Zelensky's speech was approved in advance by the Slovak Parliament last week. The leader of the opposition, Robert Fico, was not present during the Ukrainian President's speech. He says he does not want to listen to a man who "lies daily" and harms Slovakia's interests. There were no members of the Republika party present either. The MPs of LSNS party left during the speech.
