On Monday, US First Lady Jill Biden concluded her visit to Slovakia at the Presidential Palace. She was received by President Zuzana Čaputová. Both ladies agreed that there is mutual understanding, cooperation and sharing of the same values between our countries. "During my visit to this beautiful country, I was personally convinced that Slovakia shares the same values as the United States of America," wrote Jill Biden in the guest book of the Presidential Palace. "I'm very pleased with the mutual understanding and cooperation, and I want to thank the United States of America for its support," Caputova told the media at the meeting. On 7 May, the US First Lady arrived in Slovakia to express her appreciation for its commitment and solidarity in dealing with the migratory wave triggered by the war in Ukraine.
