Slovak president receives a letter from Barack Obama

The American president Barack Obama expressed hope that Slovakia under the leadership of Andrej Kiska will continue in the support of peace and economic growth in central European region, as well as in the world. This was the message of a letter, which Obama sent to Kiska to congratulate him on the taking of the office of Slovak president.

In the letter, the American president stated that he admires the attention Kiska focuses on the common values, including the issues of transparent and just government. Obama has also expressed his will to cooperate with his Slovak counterpart in the fields of common interest, this being European energy security, keeping political stability in Afghanistan, helping the Ukrainian people on their way to future strength and emancipation, as well as with completing the ambitious Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership.
