Svetozár Chabada, another lawyer of the former PM Robert Fico is being prosecuted. After Marek Para, who is in custody, Chabada faces charges of misusing a public official's powers. Fico currently also faces charges of misuse of power and masterminding a criminal group. Chabada, who is a former head of the Bratislava Prosecutor's Office II, originally faced lesser charges - of obstructing a public official's tasks that carry less severe potential punishment. According to the Žilina Regional Prosecutor's Office it is not possible to provide more information about the case at this stage.
