55.3% of people in Slovakia are satisfied with President Zuzana Čaputová after three years in the post, while 41.4% have the opposite opinion, indicates a survey conducted by AKO agency.
The most satisfied with her are sympathizers of the non parliamentary Progressive Slovakia party, the major governing Ordinary People and the junior governing Freedom and Solidarity party. Sympathisers of the Christian Democratic Movement and the We Are Family movement are also more satisfied than dissatisfied. The least trusting are those who support the opposition parties - Voice-SD, Smer-SD and far right People's Party Our Slovakia. Čaputová is not trusted at all by people who would vote for the non parliamentary far right Republic movement.
In the survey, higher satisfaction was reported more often by women, the youngest respondents under 33 years of age, residents of the Bratislava, Trnava and Banská Bystrica regions. At the same time, satisfaction with the president also increased with increasing education. On the contrary, higher than average dissatisfaction was reported by men, people aged 34-65 and people with low education. In regional terms, these were mainly residents of the Trenčín, Prešov and Nitra regions.
The survey was conducted from 5 to 11 April on a sample of 1,000 respondents.
