Slovakia and Czech Republic finalise cooperation of ambulances at the border

Slovak and Czech rescuers should cooperate in border areas. Agreements on the cooperation of rescue systems are currently being finalised. Health Minister Vladimír Lengvarský announced this after a meeting with Czech Health Minister Vlastimil Válek on Monday. According to him, the principle of the agreement should be the coordination of Slovak and Czech rescue services. In case of need on the Slovak side, Czech ambulances could be used, and vice versa. This would also facilitate interventions in events with mass disabilities. The contract could come into force at the beginning of next year.
