The European Commissioner for Justice Didier Reynders met with Slovak opposition leaders, who informed him about the alleged misuse of criminal law in Slovakia with the intention of liquidating the opposition, said Smer-SD party spokesperson Ján Mažgút. On the contrary, Slovak Prime Minister Eduard Heger assured Reynders that Slovakia is governed under the rule of law and that justice applies equally to everyone.
