Slovakia is intensively negotiating with the EU on compensation for the military material donated to Ukraine, according to Slovak Defence Minister Jaroslav Naď. "Slovakia has so far helped Ukraine with military material worth around 62 million euros and has also provided the S-300 anti-missile and anti-aircraft system worth around 68 million euros," defence ministry spokeswoman Martina Kovaľ Kakaščíková recalled, adding that discussions on the possibilities of support are continuing. According to her, the final amount and the deadline for reimbursement will also depend on the number of applications received from EU member states and the amount of their requests.
