The number of vacant new flats in Bratislava in the first quarter of 2022 was historically low, standing at 1,660. According to an analysis by Bencont Investments on the new flats market in Bratislava in the first quarter of 2022, the prices of flats in Bratislava increased by 25% year-on-year. The price growth of new flats in Bratislava continued at a rapid pace during the first quarter of 2022. The average price of vacant flats rose to €4,634 per square metre, including value added tax (VAT). "Growth is mainly due to the limited supply. The average price of all sold flats was behind the price of new flats, while total sales decreased by 20% year-on-year. "However, the decline in sales was primarily due to a limited supply where the volume of sales to the number of vacant flats remained strong," added Rudolf Bruchaník chief analyst of Bencont Investments.
