The government will present the so-called inflation aid package to people in need on Thursday (21 April). Prime Minister Eduard Heger informed about it on Wednesday after the government meeting.
On 19 April, the Coalition Council again discussed the inflation aid package. According to Finance Minister Igor Matovic (OĽANO), the coalition Freedom and Solidarity party has one last chance to "get on board" those political parties that want to help people. If the party wants to stay on the sidelines, he believes that the remaining three coalition partners will communicate the issue together. However, he admitted that without SaS it would be impossible to push through systemic change in parliament.
