The epidemiological situation in Slovakia is improving; the number of people tested positive for COVID-19, the number of patients admitted to hospitals, and the number of people hospitalised on a daily basis are declining, Health Minister Vladimir Lengvarsky said on Wednesday. There are also fewer people in need of lung ventilation and the number of emergency medical call-outs is decreasing too. According to the minister, the number of positive cases is declining in both PCR and antigen testing. On Wednesday, April 6, the National Health Information Centre registered 5219 new positive PCR tests out of 12,724.
