Seven prosecutors of the Office of the Special Prosecutor's Office have drawn attention to the interference of the Prosecutor General's Office in their work, which, in their opinion, is unprecedented, wrote the DenníkN daily. They did so after a prosecutor has filed a motion to remand former head of Financial Administration's criminal office Ludovit Makó and former deputy of the Slovak Intelligence Service (SIS) Boris Beňa in custody. Both were detained last week on suspicion of perjury and making false accusations. Their testimonies allegedly concerned a case featuring former SIS chief Vladimir Pčolinský and entrepreneur Zoroslav Kollár as defendants.
