A new, large-scale assistance centre for Ukrainian refugees has been set up on Bottova Street in Bratislava on the premises of the former temporary bus station. It should be able to serve up to 2,500 people per day. In addition to food, refugees will also be provided with necessary information and a place to rest and complete documentation. A department of the foreigners’ police is also present. Refugees will have access to medical, legal, psychological and social assistance. The centre has been set up by the City of Bratislava in cooperation with the state, non-profit organisations and private companies.
