Domestic industrial-producer prices in Slovakia rose by 13.3% month-on-month in February 2022, the Statistics Office reported on Monday. The growth was chiefly influenced by increases in the prices of electricity and gas supplies - 28.2%; in mining and quarrying - 5.4%, in industrial production - 2.4%; and in supplies of water and waste management - 0.4%.
In yearly terms, industrial-producer prices for the domestic market increased by 39%, chiefly due to hikes in the prices of electricity and gas supplies - 82.1%; in mining and quarrying - 29.7%; in industrial production - 14.2%; and in supplies of water and waste management - 6.8%. On average, industrial-producer prices in January and February grew by 31.5% year-on-year.
