Unsurprisingly, Peter Sagan (Cannondale) has earned himself the right to wear the Slovak champion’s jersey for the fourth year in a row, when he ended as the fastest in a small group sprint at the end of a 198.6km race in Dubnica nad Váhom, which doubled as the Slovakian and Czech national road cycling championships.
This year, Peter Sagan will also try to defend 1st place in the point’s classification at the Tour de France, which starts on 5th July.
