US Secretary of Defence Lloyd Austin is visiting Slovakia on Thursday. This is to be the first visit by a US secretary of defence to Slovakia since the country joined NATO, moreover Slovakia is the only country he is visiting on a bilateral level on his way to a NATO meeting in Brussels. In Bratislava, Lloyd Austin is set to meet with senior civilian and military leaders to speak about NATO's eastern flank.
