The Slovak Bar Association (SAK) is organising free-of-charge legal counselling for Ukrainian migrants, with the services of more than 120 lawyers currently offered within the programme, TASR has learnt from the Association.
The pro bono legal aid can be used in all fields of the law. "We expect that as time goes on, demand for such legal services will grow, and more complicated cases will appear as well. Partly because of this, it's important to let humanitarian organisations know about this option so that they can convey this type of aid to the people in need as well," stated SAK president Viliam Karas.
The names of the lawyers offering free-of-charge legal aid can be found on a list on SAK's website after choosing 'pro bono legal aid to Ukraine' from the 'professional specialisation' option.
