The current international situation in connection with the Russian military invasion of Ukraine is the top priority on the agenda of Israeli Foreign Affairs Minister Yair Lapid during his visit to Slovakia on Monday. His schedule includes a meeting with Slovak President Zuzana Čaputová and Slovak Foreign Affairs Minister Ivan Korčok. In addition to the situation in Ukraine, the ministers will discuss developments in the Middle East, as well as the development of security, economic and cultural cooperation between the two countries. The ministers are set to visit the Chatam Sofer memorial in Bratislava where they will meet representatives of the Jewish community and organisations operating in Slovakia.
