Hotels and people sheltering Ukrainian refugees to be paid by state

The Ministry of Transport and Construction will take over the agenda of paying contributions to hotels and accommodation facilities providing shelter to Ukrainian refugees, whereas the rental of privately owned flats is to be dealt with by the Interior Ministry. According to Finance Minister Igor Matovic, municipalities are to keep records and pay financial contributions to the people who provide refuge, but the management and audit of the records is to be carried out by the Interior Ministry.
