Great Britain has offered Slovakia a thousand of its soldiers to help with humanitarian activities related to the influx of Ukrainian refugees, Prime Minister Eduard Heger reported on Twitter after meeting with his British counterpart Boris Johnson in London on Tuesday.
Heger welcomed the British offer and underlined the support both countries have declared for Ukrainian President Volodymr Zelensky.
"Slovakia and Britain are united in their approach towards (Russian President Vladimir) Putin – his aggression must be stopped!" wrote Heger.
