77% of Slovaks consider the Russian military invasion of Ukraine an act of aggression, according to a survey conducted by Median for RTVS. 59% of respondents strongly agreed that Russia's invasion of Ukraine is an act of aggression, 18% "rather agree" and 10% could not say. On the contrary, 6% did not agree at all that the Russian military invasion of Ukraine is an act of aggression and 7% rather disagreed. At the same time, Slovaks do not want the EU and NATO to decide on a forceful counter-attack against Russia. Furthermore, the poll shows that 94% of Slovaks support efforts to bring peace to the Ukrainian-Russian war and 64% of respondents support pressure on Russia through economic sanctions. It also shows that up to 74% of respondents are concerned about Slovakia's security as a result of this war. 69% of the respondents are worried about nuclear war, 69% of the respondents are also worried about their life and the life of their family, and 49% of the respondents are worried about the influx of refugees. The agency conducted the survey on 1 to 3 March among a sample of 1001 respondents.
